Baby shower
Baby animal names quiz
A calf, a fawn, a cria: ten baby animals, from the ones everyone knows to the ones nobody does. Guests pick the right name, a wrong answer knocks them off the ladder, and the last guests standing win. It needs no knowledge of the parents, so it suits an office shower or a room of strangers.

How to play
- 1Line up multiple-choice questions from easiest to hardest. Each one is a rung.
- 2Everyone answers every question.
- 3A wrong answer, or no answer, knocks a guest off the ladder.
- 4Once per game the room can ask the room: show how everyone is voting before answers lock.
- 5Each rung is worth more than the last. The last guests standing take the most points.
Running it for your group
- A small group
- With a few guests, let everyone who falls off keep answering for fun. Bragging rights only.
- A big room
- The ladder is built for a big room: everyone answers every question, and the screen counts who's still standing. Save the ask-the-room lifeline for a hard rung near the top.
- Guests on a video call
- Remote guests climb the same ladder as the room. The standing count on screen includes everyone.

Questions people ask
- Is the baby animal quiz good for kids?
- Yes. Older siblings and cousins can play on a parent's phone, and the first few questions are easy enough for them to win a rung or two.
- What happens if everyone gets one wrong?
- The room catches them: nobody falls on that rung, nobody scores it, and the climb goes on.
- Can we play this live instead of on paper?
- Yes. Put the questions on a TV or laptop, guests join from their phones with a QR code, and the answers are revealed on the big screen with scores kept for you. It's free for up to 15 guests.
