Privacy

Guess & Gather is built to collect as little as possible.

Guests

Guests give a display name and nothing else. No account, no email, no phone number. Names, answers, scores and wall posts belong to the event they were played in and are deleted with it.

Hosts

An event holds the names, date, theme and questions the host enters, and the answers the guest of honor gives through their private link. A host account holds an email address and a password, used only to sign in and list the host’s events. The private edit link still opens an event without an account, so it can be shared with a co-host.

Photos

Photos a host uploads are stored privately, shown only through short-lived links to people in that event, and deleted with the event.

Payments

A pass is paid through Stripe. We receive whether the payment succeeded and the amount; card details go to Stripe and never to us.

Keepsakes

A keepsake page is reachable by anyone with its link and is never listed in search engines. Keepsakes come with a pass and stay up.

Questions or deletion requests: reply to any receipt, or contact us through the site.
