Shower games for large groups

A game that's fun for twelve friends can stall with eighty guests: answers are hard to hear, pencils run out, and someone spends dessert adding up scores. These games hold up at any size.

The short answer

For 40 to 200 guests, play games where everyone answers at once: bingo, guessing games, trivia and advice cards. Avoid games where guests take turns or one person reads every answer aloud. Scoring by phone with one shared screen saves anyone from tallying paper sheets.

What scales

What doesn't scale: anything where guests take turns, or where one person reads every answer aloud.

Scoring a big room

On paper, have guests swap cards with a neighbor and mark them as you read the answers. Live, the screen does it: every guest answers on their phone, the reveal shows the split, and the leaderboard updates after each question.

The free plan covers 15 guests. For a bigger room, a one-time pass covers up to 100 or 500. See pricing.

Questions people ask

What is a good game for a big baby shower?
Baby shower bingo. Every guest gets a different card, nobody has to speak up, and it runs for the whole gift opening.
How do you keep a large group engaged?
Short games, one screen everyone can see, and a quick reveal. Ten questions with a reveal after each one beats thirty questions marked at the end.

Play it on the big screen

Questions on the TV, answers on guests’ phones, scores kept for you. Free for up to 15 guests.
