How to play shower games on a TV with guests' phones

Paper games are fine for eight friends around a coffee table. For a bigger room, a TV and the phones already in everyone's pocket do the work: questions on the big screen, answers on phones, and a reveal that shows who got it right.

The short answer

Open the game's big screen in a browser on a TV or a laptop connected by HDMI. Guests scan a QR code and answer on their phones with no app, and the host runs it from their own phone. The screen reveals each answer and keeps score. Guess & Gather does this free for up to 15 guests.

What you need

No app to install for anyone. Guests scan a QR code on the TV and type their name.

How a game runs

You pick the occasion and the games, add the names, and choose a theme. The guest of honor can answer the questions privately through their own link, or you can type the answers in, or tap them live from your phone.

On the day, open the big screen on the TV and the remote on your phone. Guests join with the QR code. Each question goes up on the screen, answers lock when you close the round, and the reveal shows the real answer and who got it right. Scores add up across every game.

What it costs

Every game is free for up to 15 guests. For bigger events a one-time pass gives you unlimited guests, and also adds photos, your own colors and fonts, and a printed keepsake. See pricing, or plan an event to try it.
